Use of "Cookie" files

“Cookies” are small files that the browser stores on your computer's hard drive. You can delete “Cookie” files at any time or, in the case of certain browser settings, they will not even be saved. Most browsers store “Cookie” files automatically.

The Portal operator uses “Cookie” files to improve the functionality of the portal and improve customer service and user comfort. Such files are also used for anonymous tracking of transactions and their attribution to our affiliate partners. Furthermore, "Cookie" files are used when analyzing the use of web pages with the Google Analytics tool. The purpose is exclusively to ensure the stability of the system and statistical analysis of website traffic. This is not processing of personal data. IP addresses stored by the Google Analytics tool are strictly anonymized. Functional and statistical "Cookie" files do not contain any personal data.

You can use the Macrosoft.sk Portal even without “Cookie” files, but in this case its functionality will be significantly limited. We therefore recommend that you do not block “Cookie” files in your browser. If you still want to prevent “Cookie” files from being saved on your computer, change the browser settings. You can find instructions in the chapter "How to avoid cookie files".

Use of "Google Analytics" and "Google Remarketing" tools

Macrosoft.sk pages use services of Google Inc. (hereinafter "Google") graphic advertising services, Analytics and Remarketing services. "Cookies" are used for these services. The information obtained about the use of this website will be transferred to Google servers and stored. The IP address is anonymized by Google - shortened by the last three digits, to make unique assignment to a natural person impossible. Data for the Google remarketing service will not be collected until we obtain explicit consent from you to process these data. You provide consent by pressing the "I understand" button on the Cookie bar with the "Marketing" category checked in the cookie list, or by further use of the portal. You can withdraw this consent at any time. Furthermore, Google respects the personal data protection provisions of the "US-Safe-Harbor" agreement and is registered in the "Safe Harbor" program of the US Department of Commerce. Google uses this information on behalf of Macrosoft for the purpose of evaluating the use of the Portal and providing other services related to the use of the website and the internet. Google will pass this information to third parties only if required by law or if third parties process these data on behalf of Google. Third parties, including Google, use stored Cookies for advertising based on previous user visits to this website. Further details about the types of Cookies and their use by Google can be found at policies.google.com. You can deactivate the use of Cookies by Google by opening the Google ad deactivation page.

Facebook and Google+ Social Network Plugins

If you have granted us consent to process personal data through technologies such as third-party "Marketing" type Cookies, the "Like" button ("plugin") from the facebook.com website of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") and the "+1" button of the Google Plus service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google") will be made available to you on the Portal. If you visit a website containing the above button on our web presentation, your browser will establish a direct connection with the Facebook or Google server. Information from the plugins is transferred from the Facebook or Google server directly to your browser and further to the relevant website. We have no influence on the information that the Facebook and Google services transmit using these plugins.

Embedded plugins send information to the Facebook and Google servers triggered by the corresponding page of our web presentation. If you are logged in to these services, the provider can log you into your user account when visiting the page. When interacting with a plugin, for example, by pressing a button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is sent directly from your browser to the Facebook or Google server, where it is saved. Even if you are not a member of the Facebook or Google network, a situation may arise where the relevant operator finds out your IP address and saves it.

Further information regarding the purpose and scope of personal data collection and further processing and use of personal data can be found on the Facebook and Google websites. You will also find relevant information regarding your rights and options for personal data protection settings here. Providers' personal data protection notices:
